“This is a hotel thats in the making. Our room though clean and perfectly adequate overlooked the garden where pople sat but there were no nets or screens. Half window nets would make it possible to shower without embarasement Breakfast great. Coffee in room was out of date. No hooks for coats. Garden needs major work.A little pricy until things get sorted. Lovely owners and family. Things will be OK!”
“We had a wonderful time at Copper Beech. The room was perfect for the three of us, with everything we could possibly need, and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in a very long time! The location was ideal for exploring Aldeburgh, with some great pubs nearby for dinner. Thank you for a perfect stay!”
“This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.”
“Decent room in building in pub car park. Nicely decorated, good amenities. Bed/mattress were cheap but didn’t affect my sleep. No sockets adjacent to the bed which is always annoying. My first floor room only had a Velux window so no view outside. The bathroom was very small but well equipped with toiletries and soft towels. Included breakfast was very good. All in all, I was happy with this stay and felt it was good value. ”
“Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.”

“This was a last minute impromptu trip and I am really glad we chose this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and reasonably priced and the room was lovely. It's near the seaside and also historical towns so there is lots to see and do within a short drive. We will definitely be going again. ”
“We recently stayed for two nights at The Cliffe Hotel in Lowestoft and were very pleased with our experience. The room, breakfast area, and communal spaces were all spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was particularly spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order and of a high standard, with a good variety of options including cereal, porridge, and a hearty Full English. The service throughout was excellent, everyone we……
“The hotel and its facilities are adequate but a bit dated. Food was average but good value for money. Outlook over the Broad is fantastic and makes the venue very special. The last remaining fried egg at breakfast was not cuttable without special tools. On request it was quickly replaced with two new ones which were perfect (don't wait for the request next time)”
