“This is an absolutely beautiful property and the hosts were gracious and lovely. Our room was small, but guests have access to many beautifully furnished rooms in the house along with extensive and beautiful grounds. Breakfast was delicious and served at a large dining room table so guests could visit with one another in the morning. A lovely stay, and very close to the airport.”

“This was one of the coolest stays on our honeymoon roadtrip. You really can’t beat it if you’re staying in Halifax. We stayed in the penthouse suite and had a personal hot tub, sauna, double balcony, and breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Beautiful, modern, clean, and affordable for what you get. We highly recommend dinner at Bar Kismet nearby. ”

“If you are looking for something a little different, this is the place for you. The shared spaces are fantastic (beautiful plants and decor), plus there are 2 beautiful outside spaces: backyard with hot tub and sauna; large rooftop patio with lounge seating and fantastic view.There is a large shared kitchen area, which is well stocked. I was surprised that there was even a bar area, where you can purchase alcohol. A welcome snack awaited me, plus breakfast was served at the time I asked.……

“This was the most disappointing stay during our first visit to the east coast. Thankfully it was right at the start of our trip and every other stay was excellent. Shower stall in the entry was awful. Musty smell throught "suite" was overpowering. Blinds not able to stay pulled down when we opened all the windows to air the place out meant anyone could look in from the main street. Bedroom window faces the front entryway to the rest of the house so there could be no privacy with non working……

“I wasn't going to be in the room to much, so I didn't require much. The room was basic hotel style with private access, a bed, fridge, microwave, drip-coffee maker, toaster, mini-fridge, TV (assuming with a Roku or similar, but I didn't use it), WiFi access, towels / soaps included, and an oscillating fan as there is no air conditioning. The room was clean, but I found some some long hairs present in the bathroom (not mine), but didn't bother me at all. Decent stay, low noise and comfortable.”

“We were very pleased with our stay at Sand Castles Suite. My first visit to the East Coast. The perfect View for our morning coffee. Watched fishermen come and check traps, sat out on the Wharf and watched the birds, jellyfish, crabs all in the clear water. Watched the sun set. Combed the shore for some goodies and tried catching some fish. Typical East Coast spring weather so cool/foggy/rainy during our stay but still able to enjoy the outside and get cozy inside. “My partner and I were in Halifax for a short vacation. Jeff’s space is bright, clean, and spacious. Super comfy beds and soft linens.
