“We had never stayed in yurt before so that was nice to try. The place was very clean and cozy. The hot tub was great and the bed was SO comfy. And the view from our porch was beautiful. The thin walls did take some getting used to. People in the next yurt over sounded much closer than they were. Their music and late night conversations were hard to sleep through. And snow sliding off the roof sounded like an animal scratching. But all in all it was a good time and we had fun. ”

“Impressive carpentry throughout, from the log walls to the stump supporting the kitchen table. A great fireplace and a big living room space in front of it. Beds are very comfortable, the towels fluffy, and the kitchen adequate, if a little tight if too many people gather there. Fresh snow made the property appropriately magical on the days before Christmas. The long, snow-covered driveway, although flat, was a bit of a driving test in the dark.”

This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettina’s italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close.
