My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles……

“The kids and I loved our stay at this cabin. It was peaceful, and filled with walkable adventures for the kids. Johnny was an amazing host . Everything we needed PLUS was provided for our stay. The cabin was clean and adorable. Our 4 legged family member had just as much fun as we did during our stay. The trails to walk with the kids were gorgeous! We saw several different animals pretty up close in the yard and surrounding forest . Deer, ground hogs, squirrels, frogs and chipmunks ! I highly……

“We were VERY pleased with our stay. Hal is a fantastic host and responded quickly when we had an issue with the tv. One note...if you stay during the week, be sure to call places to see if they are open before making the drive. We found some places closed - despite Google saying they were open. ”

We enjoyed a Kayak trip on the river and a bike ride on a local PA Rail Trail. Communication with the host was great - highly recommended place to stay!!”
