“The stay was like living in a fairytale land. The host and hostess were so delightful. The breakfast was a treat. All home-cooked with such care and expertise. My husband and I wanted to take a weekend off and we felt like royalty. Everything was well-kept, well-labelled and clean. Attention to detail was amazing. Coffee, tea, and cookies were available the whole time. Loved it:) ”

“This was our second time at this beautiful, private, quiet cottage. Very comfortable and beautiful. Cottage is showing some signs of maintenance needs—squirrels very active in attic and inside roof, and fireplaces seemed to run out of propane mid-weekend. Kitchen missing some key items like functional coffee maker and mixing bowls. All in all very nice though.”

“All was good. Great view of deer in the evening and fantastic sunrise. Got the best room for sunrise. 203. Had to go thru 5 doors to get my luggage from the entrance to hotel to my room. Was offered help, but didn’t accept. Breakfast was subpar. No toast, no juice, no fruit. Hot water for tea was broken. Local breakfast restaurants not open Monday thru Wednesday. Bullock House was great. And restaurants in Woodbury were good. Azaleas at the hotel and in Warm Springs were better than Calloway. ”

“The staff was very helpful regarding directions and explaining the tv. The inn itself needs renovation. No lobby to speak of and no nod to the significance of the history of the inn. The bed needed replacing, the sheets were modern as was the coverlet. ”

“Very comfortable and quiet. It’s a great place to leave in the morning and return for bed in the evening. Other than a couple of fire pits and a nice distance view, there are no activities here at the lodge. The lodge is a separate facility from the Inn and the cabins. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms do have different options. There is no food served here so your eating choices will require a drive. ”

“This is an older motel, the room was clean but could have been clearer, the room had a dog smell. 1 night stay . Guy at the front desk was very nice ”
