“Neighborhood is not well cared for-- place opens onto trashy parking lot. Trash and debris outside the door caused a stink/unclean entrance-- should be cleared better. A door mat as you enter apartment would help. Apartment is worn, with basic amenities but all inside was clean and functional, except TV. We had to call host when TV would only show one channel. They brought over a Roku that my tech-savvy husband had to set up. A converter for the Roku-to-power plug was not included with the……

The thoughtful notes and touches anticipated our every need and I particularly enjoyed walking the property and admiring the blackberries, blueberries, apples, figs, and other goodies planted amidst the flowers while drinking my morning coffee. “Both the island in general and this home in particular are both very sweet. It was a lovely place to spend a few days. We saw many deer, a pod of four orcas and just generally enjoyed our time there. I should add, the property is managed by Vacasa with all the downsides for guests that usually entails: dirty dishes were placed back on the shelves (yuck) and the paper goods (toilet paper, tissue, paper towel) are about as low quality as can possibly be purchased. “Rented the cabin to be close to family who was moored at Alderbrook Lodge for the 4th of July weekend. The cabin is walking distance to the lodge, about 1.25 miles. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, no complaints ... would definitely book this cabin again!”
