“Amazing property and an incredible lake view.”

“The cottage location is very peaceful. It's equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the patio early mornings and late evenings and just looking out onto the water. It feels very private. The bed was super comfortable. I haven't slept that well in quite a while. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, spices and dishes so that I could cook. There was even eggs in the fridge from the chickens. We loved the visits from the dogs and cats.”

“Great house right on the water! We lived outside on the deck and could go back and forth all day to and from the water. The kayaks and beach chairs were a thoughtful added bonus. Sleeps 8 people very comfortably. Will definitely book again!”

“We loved staying here. The description should have included rustic but that is not a negative. If you are expecting the Hilton, forget it. But if you want a comfortable place to stay with a great view and access to the water, this is it. Appliances are all new. Using the kayak was wonderful. The water is very calm. We would stay here again in a minute and are already looking at dates for next year”

“The house was very well equipped and spotless on arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a chance to use the kayaks provided for a paddle where we saw seals, eagles, and a salmon leaping out of the water. Great communication before during and after our stay. Easy check in and check out process. When we visit the area again we will check availability of this place first! ”

“Extremely relaxing. Very peaceful setting. House was as described. We enjoyed having dinners on the back deck, going for kayaks in Pickering Passage, and enjoying the hot tub. The view from the kitchen and dining room are just beautiful. Our last day, there was a seal sunning itself all day on one of the docks in the water. My husband was able to work a few days from one of the work desks at the house. Took one star off from location as there isn't much going on in the nearest small town.……

“This was a great cottage in a beautiful area of Hoodsport. Check-in was really easy and accommodation was accurate to the description. Communication with the property management company wasn’t the best. I emailed and messaged them through the app, but got no response. I had to call them to get some questions answered BUT once I called, they were quick to respond. ”

“Nice to have a full kitchen + Blackstone since restaurant options are limited; great to have bedrooms at opposite ends of the house; large deck was a plus; super-fast wifi.”
