“The "Isle of View" was the perfect location for my friends and I. Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night. The resident Hemingway cat that oversaw the property was very affectionate. Bring cat treats! We will stay again. Thank you Marcus.”

“We were looking for a place off the beaten path to stay. We certainly found it in this cabin! It was very quiet at night and served our purposes well. The only negative thing l have to say is it was a lot smaller than l expected. I’m a fairly big guy and had an issue or two with space. ”

“I echo all the 10/10 reviews. We too brought our e-bikes and took several wonderful rides around old Mandeville. The bike trails are the best I’ve ridden. Lake Pontchartrain shoreline is a short stroll away, and there are many nearby eateries and watering holes to experience. The cottage is awesome. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. It was perfect for our stay.”

“We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The large dining room was accommodating for our family and friends and family that were also here for the wedding all came and we all sat at the big table and made a big dinner. I would definitely stay here agin”

“We loved our stay in this spacious house on the water. I drank my coffee on the patio every morning and relaxed with the sounds of nature and watching the boats go by. It's in a great neighborhood with a tiny swamp along the way. Michelle was a helpful, welcoming and responsive host. The kids loved having their own bedrooms and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. “We had the most peaceful, relaxing and comfortable stay, I think ever. We were only 40 minutes from home, but it seemed like 1,000,000 miles away.
