“We had a reservation at the Best Western Saluki in Carbondale and the property was FILTHY. I was so relieved when a room opened up at the Drury, this was our third stay here. The hotel was so clean and has lovely amenities, including breakfast and the evening happy hour, great snack options, and more. We were in town for my father-in-law's funeral and my husband couldn't tie his tie due to his disability; one of the gentlemen at the front desk helped us as we were headed to the church, I was so……

“Very comfortable for overnight stay. Not much in vicinity, but fine by me as I was looking for a convenient place on my route. Breakfast was light. ”

“The toilet stool had a crack in the side, and it had a bolt missing on the bottom. When you moved on it it would tilt. The hair dryer outlet had a big crack, and it looked like it had been smoking. The outlet was not GFCI (dangerous). The air conditioning system did not work properly. The trash outside of the building was not emptied for the 5 days we were there. There were weeds all around the outside of the building. The coffee was good.”

“We travel to Marion several times a year to visit family. Many of the hotels in the area are dumps. Baymont is the exception. In my most recent trip I had to extend my stay twice and the the front desk clerk, Valerie, was super helpful in working through a couple of reservations issues”
