“The house was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. It was difficult to find the driveway, but the host Wendy gave us excellent directions. Walkable to all the restaurants and a short drive to the visitor's center for New River Gorge National Park. There is another visitor center about 45 minutes away, but it was not a bad drive. Would definitely stay again.”

“We originally booked in July, but our Granddaughter was born sooner than expected. The host was gracious enough to switch our dates. Thank you Harry for your flexibility. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the Flat. The location was perfect for us. Great stay overall. Would definitely stay there again.”

“This was a great location for a trip to a beautiful National Park. It’s just 5 minutes from the main visitor’s center and New River Bridge and 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. The cottage is kept immaculately clean and located on a quiet gravel street. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook and is equipped with everything I needed to make dinner for 5. The owner stocked the fire pit with sticks and firewood. I forgot to pack a lighter and couldn’t find one on site. I contacted the owner.……

“The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. ”
