“We loved this spot It was perfect for us. Oh and having chocolate chip cookies waiting for us topped it off! Loved all the thoughtful extras. ”

“Things I wish I knew: (1) how far the hike was between the parking lot and greenhouse. I was exhausted by the drive only to find I had to haul my stuff up a steep incline. I would have prepared differently. (2) how you define a bathroom - I didn’t need much but again, I would have planned differently if I had know what you offered. 3) how bad the roads and bridge were - I don’t mind an adventure but had there been a place to turn around I would have done so and slept in my car. I considered it……

“I liked how clean and spacious the place was, the beautiful view of the river. The only drawback was that there was a storm and the electricity went out and they didn't have a generator, but it was something natural, but it was a very pleasant stay.”

“We came here to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children and their families. Loved the homey atmosphere. The well stocked kitchen, the large yard, the family room, and the game room were all big plusses. Our favorite sightseeing spot was Fern Canyon. We did miss the refrigerator ice maker not working. ”

“After hiking all day amongst the redwoods of NorCal we would return to the home to rest and relax to get ready for the next days hike. Sitting out on the back deck right by the river was especially nice. We had a great time. ”

“Such a beautiful home a stones throw away from the famous Jedediah smith redwoods state park. Plenty of room for 3 couples plus nice kitchen supplies. The bedding was lovely and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The views were spectacular and excellent communication getting in and out. 5 stars all around!!”

“This place was absolutely perfect for a getaway into the state and national redwood parks! The state park ended up being our favorite. My husband fished the river a short walk from the property and we spent a lot of time enjoying the patio area after a long day of hiking.”

“Such an amazing location- so close to Jedediah Smith. The house was cozy and incredibly clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy river access! Loved listening to birds and the river drinking our coffee in AM. Nikki was such a great host- quick and responsive. Perfect stay for our family (kids 5 and 7). Would absolutely stay again! ”
