“With 6 adults and 6 children (ages 8 and under), the Escape to paradise in the Texas Hill Country was just right. The 4 bedrooms were spacious with 3 of them having a private bath. We were more than comfortable with sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was top-notch. We had so much room with the huge counter - prep and serve felt so easy - plenty of room to spread out with room to spare! “This house/host is a nightmare. I showed up with my family after 12+ hours in a van to an empty house. The host would not respond so I had to find hotel accommodations at the last minute for 9 people on a holiday weekend and foot the bill. Then the neighbor comes by and says the place is a mold infested scam hole and that this host has properties all over town that should be condemned. And she is marketing them to poor unsuspecting people like us. Then the host contacts me the night before I was……

“Initially I was concerned when we entered the property and it it smelt like stale cigarette smoke. I txted my concern to Michelle and she got back with me the next morning stating that it was a non-smoking property. I knew that, but had concerns that whoever had been there had smoked. Anyway, the property is clean, well-stocked, and can accommodate a large group with no problems. Our group was only 10 (5 adults and 5 children) and we had a great time enjoying the large space, the shuffle board,……

“Owner was unaware that pool company left water running and overfilled the pool on the day of our arrival. She had them come back and do an emergency service to have to pool ready for the kids the next morning. She allowed us to stay well after check out on our final day to make up the difference. I would definitely stay here again. The hike down to the lake is a “hike” for sure, but we all went down there and had fun in the lake too. ”

“This was the perfect little house for us. It had everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable and relaxing in the creek was amazing and peaceful. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and Schoepfs BBQ where we went for live music. Would definitely recommend!!!”
