“What an amazing place. One hour from Bangor and you’re in the woods with beautiful trees surrounding the cutest log cabin! We built a fire in the fire pit and cooked in a black iron skillet. So peaceful! Loved every minute of our time there. ”

“*This is my second review of this property* Our second time visiting Knotty Pines and it was just as pleasant as the first experience. Clean cabins, quiet neighborhood, beautiful and very relaxing outdoor space. The details are really thought out with these cabins and the whole property. We ended up getting to meet the property owners in person this time. Greg and Christina are very hospitable and attentive hosts. Also just very kind people in general. Happy to meet hosts that put so much love……

“I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either. The place was relatively clean except for REALLY gross carpet and one thing that is inexcusable. There was rat poop in the silverware drawer and in the pots/pans. The back deck is fantastic but I would still never stay here again!”

“This home is absolutely beautiful! The view from the living room that greets you when you first walk in is breathtaking. The main bedroom is an oasis - high ceilings with a beautiful and unique light fixture, and separate doors off to a private deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to spend several evening leisurely cooking family meals. We also had a great time with a family air hockey tournament one night, and spent one lovely day paddling around the lake. Lots of great hiking in the……

“This duplex cabin was a great home base for our weekend ride- even though there was an event happening in our yard the host made it work. We were gone all day riding and they were packed up by the time we got back. Kitchens are stocked- if it wasn’t in one, you’d find it in the other! Towels- both bath and beach- were plentiful! Shampoo conditioner and body soap on site. It’s small but the waterfront deck gives plenty of room. Would be good for multiple couples or a smaller amount of singles.……
