“The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, shallow cove on the lake. Water at the.end of the dock is only waist high, so it's perfect for younger children. Nice cabin and the 2 upper bedrooms have air conditioning. Our group consisted of us...grandparents and two grandkids ages 6 and 9. This is definitely a technology free zone as there is no wifi. But, plenty of family games so you will not be bored. A neighboring camp had a small plane land on the water in front of us and thrilled the kids.”

“This is a beautiful home in a quiet spot on the pond. We enjoyed our stay with five adults and our dog. Plenty of space to walk, swim, or paddle. The home has so many unique qualities. You get a beautiful view of the lake and Hummingbirds right in front of you. Everything you might need is there. The owners were avaliable to answer any questions we had. Definitely would book again in the future.”

“*This is my second review of this property* Our second time visiting Knotty Pines and it was just as pleasant as the first experience. Clean cabins, quiet neighborhood, beautiful and very relaxing outdoor space. The details are really thought out with these cabins and the whole property. We ended up getting to meet the property owners in person this time. Greg and Christina are very hospitable and attentive hosts. Also just very kind people in general. Happy to meet hosts that put so much love……

“Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. ”

“The cabin itself had everything we needed for a great stay on Piper Pond. The Lake is just remote enough to satisy the need to get away, but close enough to civilization that you can get everything you need. The water was cool and clean and a great swim in the afternoon, but the sunset view over the mountains is absolutely killer. It was amazing how fast the cabin started to feel like "home".”

“This cabin was perfect for our needs. We were pulling a dog trailer with our Labrador retrievers, being in the area for a national retriever competition. Most slept on the trailer. The snow mobile trails were great for exercising our guys. The cabin is small, but well organized and had everything we needed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved our 10 day stay! Donna was very responsive when needed. We highly recommend the cabin!”

“This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! We had a great weekend in this beautiful and cozy cabin on the lake and our 2 young boys had a great time. We took the canoe out and dressed warm since it’s fall. We kayak on a regular basis and found this to be one of the most beautiful spots we have been. We loved that it’s secluded in the woods and everything was fully stocked with pots and pans. We also made a puzzle and played some games since there were so many in the cabin.”
