“This property is a hidden gem. Affordable, clean, plenty of parking and a block away from the beach. It was spacious for the two of us and the bathroom was huge! This will now be our hotel of choice when we travel down to Paso Robles/Cayucas area.. Notable: Check-in was a breeze and the owner was very nice. She recommended the Sea Shanty Restaurant for dinner and it didn't disappoint. The towels were high quality, very soft. Bed was a little soft for my fiancé but I slept like a baby. They……

“Our room was very warm( an issue with the heating element). We were moved and upgraded just 2 doors down. The rooms are large, comfortable beds, the windows open to keep it cool at night, large ceiling fan, and coffee in the room. Walkable to the local main st shopping, dining area. ”

José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!”

“I’ve had a lovely experience staying at this place. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable, there were inly 3 pillows but you can request for more. The only thing that was a downside was the WiFi. It was very slow and difficult to connect to. But I had cell service so it’s not a big deal. Walk to the beach was 5 minutes and it was the highlight of my short stay. ”

“Beautiful large room with nice bathroom! Nice hot tub with very steamy steam room is a welcome free touch to help relax! Beds and pillows were firm but not uncomfortably hard or flat (which seems to be the standard for the West Coast!). Room was fairly quiet, and food in town was only a short drive. Very convenient for a morning tour at Hearst Castle!”
