“This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.”

“We had a great time in Lake Placid. The apartment is beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was only a 5 minute drive to the busy downtown restaurant and shops. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning since we were there for a lacrosse tournament in the summer. They had fans and it cooled down pretty well in the evening. I understand that air conditioning isn’t needed for the majority of the year in Lake Placid. This owners seemed great too - We would definitely……

Perfectly manageable walk into town but there is a fully functioning kitchen if you prefer to eat at home. Loved the grill and hot tub!”

We appreciated having the variety of amenities to be easily able to prepare our own food. A great space for our family of 4. Very convenient location, just a short walk over the hill through a lovely neighborhood to get to town. Highly recommend this place! ”

“Everything you need to know about this place is in the listing and photos -- large, comfortable, clean, cozy, well-appointed kitchen, on a major and busy road, walkable to town, excellent parking. It's above a pizza parlor and we never smelled the food -- so no downside to that. It was close to our friends and perfect for us. We would stay here again. BTW: This place is not for the physically handicapped or infirm.”
