“This cabin was the perfect getaway! Shocking amount of stuff to do just minutes away. Clean and cozy. Hot tub and bonfire pit offered such a relaxing end to the evening. Thompsonville has great dining too. We visited iron fish distillery for a tasting and a snack. The food was AMAZING. We also explored crystal mountain to dine for dinner as well as took the 10 minute drive to Benzonia to shop and check out the new casino ”

“Nice cabin to stay in. Good location. Had to ask for access code to property at check-in. Had to ask for check out procedures and complete them even though we were packed up and ready to leave. Hundreds of lady bugs in the cabin.”

“We love staying at Paula's Northern Michigan Retreat! Paula is very responsive no matter how or when we contact her - her support and help is invaluable. The home setting is beautiful, with abundant wildlife and lovely property with trails to walk. The home is clean and well stocked with sheets, blankets, towels, paper towel, TP, kleenex, etc. The beds are comfortable. The addition of WiFi made it easier for our folks who still have to sometimes work. Love the available garage to hide our……

“The cabin is huge, rustic while being high end. Check in was great and simple. We stayed for our annual Steelhead Fishing Trip and fished the Manistee. Cabin was very clean, very spacious and well appointed. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the outdoor gas grill. It doesn’t get hot enough and has only a few hot spots in front and back. We definitely will be going back! Thank you Eric! ”

“Perfect location for our annual cousins ski weekend. Easy access to Crystal Mountain and Caberfae. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and there was more then enough space so we didn't feel like we were in top of eachother. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and playing in all the snow. Only recommendation is if you are visiting in the winter bring slippers as the tile floors get chilly.”

“ Our group had 10 teenagers and the hot tub and game room in the garage were BIG hits. The ski room was a perfect place to contain all the equipment and dry the gear. The dryer was a bonus! We had plenty of room for the 13 of us and proximity to the slopes was very convenient. ”
