“The location was great to have that secluded feel but still be able to get to stores or activities if you need to. We spent the bulk of our time relaxing at the house, so it was great to have lots of space and access to the creek. The hosts were very accommodating and provided lots of information about things to do in the area. We will definitely be back to experience it during a different season too.”

“A great weekend and pet friendly. The cabin is newly refurbished and is very clean, comfortable, and modern, with no musty cabin smell! Great communication with the property owner. We used the bar-b-que and fire pit and made for a nice relaxing evening around the fire. Easy river access for kayaking or fishing.”

No-nonsense, fenced rear dog yard, cool AC, clean sheets, abundant blankets and towels, great water pressure, great location near lots of hiking and a short trip to Franklin/Oil City/Slippery Rock, and a very warm welcome from an amazing host. What more could you ask for? We would happily stay again!”

“Nicest private home we have ever stayed in. Tastefully restored elegant Victorian home with all modern amenities. Historical connection to the region helps make it even more special. Private large garden and patio area is lovely. We only used three of the six bedrooms most which have very comfortable king sized beds. Great place for larger groups to stay and relax.”

“The pool was the best. That was the mainstay area for us. Only thing is the ladders for the pool need the 3rd steps. It was very hard for a couple of us to get out without the extra step. So we couldn't enjoy the pool as much as we wanted.”

“A quaint, clean, cozy cottage on the side of the wooded ravine overlooking a rippling creek. We enjoyed setting on the deck hearing the water flow and the birds sing.We enjoyed walking alongside the creek.Gwens cabin is so cute and everyone was very welcoming.We hiked several beautiful waterfalls around the area. Most were pretty easy hikes.When we left we drove into Ellwood and had a scrumptious breakfast at Breaking Bread.It was a wonderful break from city life and we plan to go back again.……
