“The Swan studios were ideal for what we wanted. Plenty of space inside with everything you need for the stay. Kettle, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Shower and bath with plenty of good hot water, tv, fridge, microwave and a comfortable double bed. Very little noise from outside and the car can be parked right outside the studio door. Ok if you do want to heat food up but not if you want to cook from scratch . Very close to Morpeth and easy access to A1 of coastal routes for touring……

Two main issues, when I arrived the apartment (1) smelt terribly of damp, probably mainly to do with the fact that no windows were able to open. I also found the apartment to feel quite unsafe, with the main building door only supported by a very wobbly Yale and an emergency exit fire door from one of the bedrooms straight outside which is also felt very unsafe during the night. “We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. “Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here with my partner and 3 daughters. A great place to get away and spend some quality time. It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! The worst hotel stay in the entire trip

"Extremely poor service and stay. We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. Television does not work, and the fans aren't very good. There are also insect stains on the bedding. Service is misleading, we were told that our check out was at noon however we were urged to leave as soon as 11am came by, asking to charge us for overstaying in the hotel. Our belongings were held at the lobby as well because of this, and the staff were reluctant to return our belongings. Extremely disappointed at the service and conditions of the hotel, will not recommend it to anyone."
