“Perfect place for a family stay near the Colby College campus. Our only regret is that we didn’t find it for our stays earlier in the college experience! ”

“The place was dirty. Went to the basement to check out the laundry room and found standing water because the sub pump was broken, 3 full piles of bedding in and on the washer and dryer. This led me to believe the sheets on the bed had not been washed. The stove top was dirty, dishes in the dishwasher, dirt in between the cushions of the couch. There were no towels, few electrical outlets. We stayed only one night because it was too late to find another alternative. On the plus side the owner……

“Finding the house took some scouting. The Alley was not marked. Once we got to the house. we were surprised how quiet it was. Loved the hardwood floors. Only More dishes would have been nice. Place settings for 4 when we had 5.”

“The beach was exactly what I was searching for and made this our winning choice for a family vacation especially for our little kids. It was very quiet and comfortable even though there’s a whole line of cabins along the beach, which I didn’t realize when booking but turned out just fine! The AC didn’t circulate well upstairs but we were brought a fan right away and after that it was perfect. We would absolutely come back!”

“We live nearby and had family visit, and stay at Camp Hope. They loved it so much that they booked a week for next year's visit. Communication was very prompt and the camp was perfect. It was well stocked and attention had been given to the details. There are accommodation's for all types of weather from the cozy indoor living area, to the screened in porch, and outdoor picnic table with fire pit.
