“We had a wonderful time at Dogwood Hollow. The house and property are beautiful. The house has everything you need for a wonderful getaway- games, baby furniture, kayaks, fishing rods, a lending library, every kitchen gadget that you will need and a wonderful children’s loft with a teepee! The house is decorated so nicely. We loved finding the little mouse house pictures. The furniture is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood and the lake are quiet and peaceful. “The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!”

“Tucked away in the woods out in the country, the photos don’t do it justice! The decor is Bohemian meets Appalachia with a touch of Whimsy - so much fun! Host was responsive to my questions. Fresh eggs in the fridge, which was delightful - except I’d brought some from my own flock! WiFi was great, plenty of hot water for 6 of us. Host’s friendly dog and cat stopped by during our visit - the painting in the kitchen come to life! Literally felt like I was staying at a friend’s house. ”

The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. “Beautiful lake house with a gorgeous view. The weather was too chilly to enjoy the outdoor space fully but the dock and porches are awesome! The house is super clean and we love the decor. Everything looked fresh and new. A few tricky things- the master is down a very narrow spiral staircase. It’s difficult to carry coffee or anything really and walk down the steps. And the noise from upstairs travels down the staircase since there isn’t a door to close for the master. The bathroom on the main……
