“We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The location was perfect—just outside of Hilo, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being close to everything we needed. It was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring.The owners were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to talk to. They made us feel so welcome from the start, even greeting us with a cute surfboard welcome sign. It was such a thoughtful touch. Even though in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded and in your own little tropical forest. We stayed in the Gecko and Volcano rooms. I feel this is a best option when you are traveling with friends and/or another couple to have your own spaces ... but still in the same building/property. Communication with the host was great!”

“this place was very nice. loved the chickens that roosted in the tree and the 2 wild boars (that didn't bother anyone). the cats and ducks.... loved the little mini zoo! the kitchen and bathroom were updated and very modern. all new pans and place settings. the bedrooms were very small but we there to see the sites of hilo it didn't matter. the swimming pool didn't look to good-on the green side and they need more chairs and loungers around the pool. the property was close to hilo, stores and……

“This place was mostly as advertised. It is small, but efficient, great place to sleep and have morning coffee. The dead end street location is great, it's a nice quiet neighborhood. Check-in process was easy and went well. The area list per for almost 24 hours while we were there, certainly not the hosts fault. However, the hosts never reached out to us in that period of time to see if we needed anything or if everything at the unit was ok, we were disappointed by that. Overall, a nice small……

“This was a great property. I stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments with an extra bed in the living room. It was comfortable. The yard was beautiful. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to work with over the phone and by text. The gardens were amazing. This property was very easily accessible to the Hilo side of the island. We were about an hour from volcanoes national park and we were about an hour in the other direction from many great venues. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.”

“Loved the view from the living room, dining room, and lanai - 180 degrees of ocean. We even saw whales!!The hosts were very responsive. We had trouble with a bedroom light, they had it fixed the next day. And when the power went out while we were away, they texted to warn us, and supplied flashlights and drinking water to make sure we'd be OK.I can't recommend this place enough!! Next time we travel to Hawaii I hope it's available!”
