“A simple, clean studio with many of the amenities available during our one week stay. Hilo was only 20 min. away, so the location was not a challenge. With only a need of a place to sleep and shower, this unit was perfectly adequate for us in comfort, value and cost. We didn’t know our studio was in a complex with multiple connecting units in a 3-story building. Typical of Hawaiʻi homes, the walls are not double sided so you’ll hear the sounds through the walls and floors (or ceiling). We missed……

All the residents we met were very nice. . Definitely use the 395 Hualani St address in the GPS. Much easier to park.Owner was very prompt to answer any questions. Clean, all basic kitchen needs present(and one of the best knife sets in a rental ever made cooking prep a pleasure), Jennifer responded quickly. “Living room was extremely hot in the afternoon. Parking is very limited. Right off of a main road. Underneath neighbors pounded on the floor if us heavy set people walked too hard. My daughter slipped and fell and was crying so they pounded again scaring us. Shower had no pressure. The rooms were nice and cool with portable ac units, beds comfy. Owner was very kind and great with communication. The ring on the door made us a little uncomfortable but it’s understandable to have. Wouldn’t choose……
