Inside, the house is beautiful with lots of interesting artwork - and a strategically placed mirror! It felt like home and had the comfiest beds and fluffy towels. “Property was clean, good location, near the cruise ports, restraunts, coffee shops. It was difficult for us to get into the building initially as we arrived later. But we got in touch with contact number and spoke with someone who arranged entry to building front door.”

“The Old Radar Station is amazing and the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for somewhere away from it all this is the ideal place. Complete peace and quiet. We stayed for three nights and didn’t want to leave. The location is incredible and the surrounding National Trust land is perfect for walking and taking advantage of the wonderful views. A remarkable amount of thought has been given to the renovation of this historic property and the blend of new with the old is very clever and……

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”
