“Our room was great and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was good! The best part of our stay was the young lady at the front desk on the morning when we were checking out. Vanessa was a breath of fresh air and we could tell that she loves helping people, no matter the situation! I left my favorite earrings I've had for 20 years in my room, but didn't realize it until 2 days later when i got home. I called the hotel and Vanessa answered! She remembered me. “I chose this location due to it being an amazing bargain and location to I-70. The clerk at check-in was extremely helpful and friendly. While the room design seemed rather new, i.e. carpet, bedding, television, etc., the bathroom was rather shabby and the towels were very thin and uncomfortable to use. Breakfast was average motel style, but did include yogurt and boiled eggs for our protein-loving family. Overall it was a pleasant stay! ”

“This is a very nice hotel in Hays, Kansas. The suite was large and comfortable. They also have Dove soap and lotion products in the rooms, which I love! The breakfast, which is included, had a good variety and was very tasty.”

“We had a very nice one night stay at Fossil Creek. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good breakfast, with lady cooking eggs and omelets. Children really enjoyed pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay again.”

“Family owned and family friendly motel. Multiple types of rooms and price points. Have stayed at least 5 times in 3 years. Each room has a different design. Comfortable beds and fridge and microwave. Fantastic breakfast with man6 choices including biscuits and gravy and fresh eggs plus the usual food. Nice pool in back. Lots of room to park.”

“Cost is always a criteria for me. Motels in Hays that were safe, inexpensive, (less than $100) and clean were over $200 this weekend because of graduations. I was forced to travel 22 miles to Ellis to find an affordable room. The only drawback, the shower didn't drain. Other than that, it was convenient to the interstate and fast food. I will stay again, I think I will no longer stay in Hays. Hays has become too crowded and busy. ”
