“Beautiful new home in a great area and very easy to check in to. Plenty of room for 10 and we all loved the game room. Took a walk to the lake a couple of times. The home had everything we needed. Very clean and neat. Only negative thing was that we lost internet service each night around 9:30, which made it impossible to watch TV or use our phones.”

“The property worked well for our family. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings. The only problem was one of the beds in the second bedroom wasn’t comfortable. It was nicely stocked with everything we needed.”

We put our boat in the water at the boat ramp about 5 minutes down the road and used the boat slip at the lakehouse all week.We had several nice mornings on the swing and campfires in the evenings with s'mores. “Heron Rest is a beautiful home. It is new, clean, and well appointed. We have stayed at many properties at Kentucky Lake over the years and this was, by far, the best. The indoor space is very comfortable. The bed setup gave six adults ample space to be comfortable. The back screened in porch is incredible with a gorgeous ravine view. The massive front porch made for great front porch sittin’ with a nice cup of coffee. The location in Western Shores was great - the dock was easy enough to get to……

“Our family loved our stay here! The inside of the home was super cute, comfy, cozy and well equipped. I love when rentals come with all the little “extras” that make your stay more comfortable and easy. Fully stocked kitchen, including all the pots and pans needed, paper towels, spices, coffee filters, wine opener, etc., lots of blankets and pillows available everywhere, board games, fold out chairs, etc. All that extra stuff just makes the stay comfortable and nice and makes it so you don’t……
