“I had my 40th birthday at this property and it had everything we needed - ample bedrooms, lots of entertainment, and plenty of food storage and kitchen space. I'd absolutely stay again with a big group!”

You can’t beat the location when you are a short walk to the lively public beach while also sitting on a cool quiet tributary with a private dock. “We were a group of 10 adults from several states (some friends, some family) celebrating a milestone birthday. Brian’s house fit the bill perfectly for our group. While we stayed during winter, we enjoyed the great views across the frozen lake and many of the great activities at the house (pool, ping pong, Nintendo) We spent much of our time cooking together and just visiting with each other. The kitchen was nicely stocked and there was the perfect amount of room for our group to dine……

If I had to suggest changes it would be inform renters of the spiral staircase, the lack of no bathroom in the bedroom in the loft and the very steep, narrow set of stairs in the house leading up to the main living space.Also the two bedrooms on the ground level were a bit cold for sleeping.Otherwise it was a nice space for the weekend.”

She called me personally before my stay to talk about the house and area, providing great recommendations for activities and dining options. This is also included in the check in instructions but felt so much more personal to speak directly with her. We traveled to Meredith for a ski trip at Gunstock and this home is definitely a must for your next trip! ”
