“Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. Lounging in the hammock under the shade tree during the day with the light breeze was like heaven on earth. Truly……

“The beautiful property is secluded enough for relaxation, yet only 10 minutes from the grocer. The cabin is very well put together using what appears to be reclaimed/refurbished materials from the period. It has all the moderns of today with the feel of 'Grampa's Cabin'.We hope to make this our regular accommodations while visiting nearby family. Thanks for the memories!”

“Wonderful, open, spacious feel of a "camp" on the water, with all the amenities of your normal house!Beautiful view, and absolutely no noise, with great privacy!Bring anything you'll need for your stay, because you will not want to leave while you are there! (but if you forgot anything...Dollar General is a stone's throw on the main road!) Gas station close by, and Bobber's Bar and Grill, right on the main road.Loved the kayaking and swimming!We will be back!”

“The home was very beautiful, warm, and well decorated. It had everything we needed. We loved the wrap around porch. We had plenty of room to sleep and sit in the living and dining area. Our family did not utilize the provided water equipment because it rained our weekend. Even with cabins in the area the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The host was very detailed in providing check in and check out instructions and very easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. ”
