“This location is perfect if you want to explore historic, downtown Laurel. Plus it is a cozy place to call home for a few days. Highly recommend!!”

“Overall place was beautiful and in great location. Minor issues, fire alarm battery was low, alarm chirped all night making it hard to sleep. Unit had a water leak in roof, owner said it is in progess of getting repaired, had to put down towels to absorb water, and keep the constant drip sound away. Cleanliness not quite up to par, found dead insect, lets call it that, in unit. Entry into building by restaurant had a terrible smell, not sure from restaurant or from the ceiling being open……

“Such a nice place. We really enjoyed how close it was to everything. Easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend. ”

“The unit is a second floor apartment that is very close to downtown Laurel. You can easily walk to downtown from the apartment. All of the hometown houses are located behind the church toward the art museum on 5-7th street, it was fun to walk that area in the afternoon ”

“The cottage is a studio-type layout.Very comfortable, and clean.Beverly and Don (the hosts) were friendly, and non-intrusive.We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“I surprised my wife with a birthday and Mother’s Day trip to Laurel, Ms. This has been a trip she’s been wanting to take and I must say she thoroughly enjoyed the Gertie Belle! We had a great trip and will look to book again in the future. Both Liz and Barclay were very accommodating and always reaching out to make sure we didn’t need anything!!
