“We had a great stay! Everything in the house was ‘just so’:the furniture/decor were very inviting, beds and linens were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, loved having a washer and dryer. The overall affect was very homey/cozy. We wanted to stay longer! In addition, Beverly was a great host. Very friendly, helpful and available. Would highly recommend Southern Charm!”

“My best friend of 45 years and I went to tour Laurel. We both love watching Hometown staring Ben and Erin Napier. We chose this place because it was within a mile of downtown and had plenty of room. On our way there we got a call saying there was some plumbing issues and the house had flooded. Much to our relief the host had already found us a place to stay in downtown that had everything we needed. The host was gracious and accommodating. “We got our check-in info before we arrived and it was very easy to follow. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable and we liked having a step-in shower rather than a tub and shower combo. The bed is very comfortable and the A/C was cold, which was great since the weather was in the high 90's. Of course, you can adjust the temperature to your preference. The sitting area in the room is great and if you prefer you can sit in the lobby, which is like a living room, or on the balcony……

“The farmhouse greeted us with a feeling of being in a place that was familiar to us. It was all remodeled but had all the charm of the age of the home. It was clean and well stocked. We appreciated it being in a more country setting of Laurel, being quiet and in a safe area was important to us. The host was very attentive and communicated with us every step of the way which we appreciated. This is a hidden gem of a farmhouse, and perfect for anyone who wants to visit Laurel and surrounding……
