“We booked this property for a Golden Retriever weekend event in Gettysburg. We stayed with our 2 Goldens and brought along a good friend since the property was so spacious. Extremely clean, very dog friendly, we even each had our own bedroom/bathroom. The neighborhood was great and was walking distance into town. I loved staying in such an old house but with all of the modern amenities! We’ll definitely be back again!!”

“We used the house as a home base as we were in town for a wedding. The house was clean. It was easy to get into. It is very spacious. Paul and Lisa were very accommodating and quick to address a minor issue. We intend to return when we can spend more around Gettysburg. We would definitely recommend!”

“The Culp House did not disappoint. We all felt very much at home and cozy. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed off season so it was too cold to sit outside, but great outdoor space for warmer months. Five minute walk to town square with restaurants and shops. If you plan to cook be prepared to bring some basics like spices, plastic wrap, etc. We highly recommend staying here. ”

“Great location and home. Owner was always available and communicated well when needed. Cleanliness could have been better, unfortunately in the bottom tier of homes stayed. Not faulting the owner but may have been gap in cleaning service or some other reasoning. There was some confusion at first about booking this property and availability but owner worked through confusion and was able to oblige. ”

The snowy setting on the Yellow Breeches Creek was truly picturesque and peaceful – the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Despite the serene location, we were only a short drive away from the vibrant restaurant and bar scene in Carlisle, offering the best of both worlds.
