“Just wow! This place was perfect. Great location just outside of Gettysburg, surrounded by beautiful Orchards, and only minutes away from the historic Cashtown Inn. The home was cozy and had all the amenities we needed, and then some. I actually found myself wishing we had more time to spend at the house. We loved sitting on the patio and looking at the pond. We planned to use the fire pit, but unfortunately, the weather was just too windy while we were there. If I find myself coming back to……

“This property is amazing! It is incredibly beautiful. The pictures make it look a little old-fashioned and dark but when you go there that is not the case. It is beautifully historic. The grounds are amazing. The summer kitchen just makes you yarn for colonial times. It was an amazing house and property to stay on for my daughter‘s graduation from Dickinson College. ”

“This old farm house was just as promised. Rustic but clean and comfortable. My teens enjoyed hanging by the pond or exploring the battlefield locations nearby. The house was a short drive to everything Gettysburg related. The host had notebooks available showing nearby restaurants and things to do. We had a great dinner at one of the restaurants we found in the book. Highly recommend this home for families interested in Gettysburg. ”

“We had a great stay! Perfect location for downtown. The only thing I would recommend updating is some of the furniture. It’s perfect for Civil War era appearance, but not comfortable to sit on. I would happily stay again!!”

“I was very happy with the cottage and how private and quiet it was. It was very clean and decorated very nicely. The property is part of a lovely farm. I enjoyed morning walks down the long driveway with my two dogs and we visited with the donkeys and the horses. Everything I needed was provided by the host. The Gettysburg area was a short drive away. If you are looking for a getaway that is peaceful and close to the historical area, this is the perfect place!”
