“Perfect lake house, for our family with 3 teens. House was great and lots of communication from owner via email and binder. We did all the lake stuff.. paddleboard, kayak, swim, fish and it was perfect. My favorite was floating in the water and reading on the dock. According to the notes and reviews, upstairs loft and small bedroom were quite warm but it was also August and very hot outside. Otherwise a comfortable retreat. “The house is set off from the road so very quiet and relaxing. The yard is very large and lots of places for our dog to run around and explore!We have rented a lot of places and this is by far one of the cleanest! All 5 of us enjoyed the air hockey and video games. Deanna was super responsive to questions and had great suggestions for places to eat nearby. We have a great family get away before the kids head back to school. Thanks!”

“This is a lovely cottage on the lake. It was very relaxing sitting on the deck and gazing on the beautiful lake. The cottage is very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. “This was the perfect property for our group of 12 ranging in age from 3-79 years old. There was something for everyone at this beautiful historic bungalow on the Rock River: fishing, kayaking, relaxing (indoors and out), a closet full of board games, a jukebox and game room, etc. All recreational equipment (kayaks, life jackets, bicycles, fishing poles etc) was in excellent working order. The house was amply furnished with comfortable beds, fresh linens, cozy spaces to relax, and place settings……

“This home was just what we needed -- calm, quiet, solitude. All of your necessities on one level! We even had some guests that we admired from a distance (mama turkey followed by her young ones).
