“Wonderful and unique place to stay. Make sure to get the igloo with the bathroom.
We were surprised how clear the dome was to see the stars and we were so lucky to see an incredible aurora from the comfort of our bed.

“West Rangá Lodge is located on a river close to Vik. It is renown for salmon fly fishing. We were only there for one night, but were able to see a fisherman catch a salmon. We went down the road to see the fish ladder that is used for the fish to climb in order to spawn.
We enjoyed the clean room and amenities. Breakfast was delicious.”
“Super friendly staff who were happy to have us there. Simple hotel was great for a stop on our golden circle tour and bonus with breakfast included so we didn’t have to spend time in the morning looking for something to eat. Would stay there again. ”
“Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”
“The cabin was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Agust was a wonderful host and we enjoyed talking with him at breakfast. He made our stay memorable and we learned a lot about Iceland. Highly recommended!”
“Our stay at Godaland Guesthouse was a wonderful surprise. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, you’ve found the right spot. The rooms are very cozy, the bathroom is clean, and there are plenty of complimentary breakfast items. Just keep in mind that there’s no option to cook your own meals here.”
