“We spent 2 nights at this cottage In October. Fun fact: my grandparents built this cottage in the 60’s and I spent many summers there in the 80’s and 90’s. I was happy to find it available as a vacation rental! The owner has updated the cottage, but kept its charm. It’s very cozy and well appointed. The screened in back porch is perfect for summer nights or rainy fall days. The location is very serene and quiet. During the summer, swimming and canoeing from the dock is perfect. “This property was exactly as described and very comfortable for being small and relatively simple. Has all the necessities and some extras, namely a very nice hot tub. I didn't notice how close to the highway it was until after I booked. This is both convenient and somewhat noisy. Still, the traffic noise was not bad inside. The cabin was very clean and Lance was a responsive and great host.”
