“The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from SLU, as we live several hours away in Massachusetts. Overall, it was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, it rained and was very cold while we were there, so I can’t comment on any of the water activities. The view from the deck is lovely! We saw a small beaver and a great blue heron.”

“Beautiful location and a very nice cabin. The multiple levels of decking is great to change up viewing areas. We all truly enjoyed it. Great communication with the host. We caught large quantities of small mouth, rock bass but very few with quality size. Definitely doesn't change my review on the cabin, but the driveway is fairly steep so if loaded down with gear and with only 2 wheel drive vehicle it can be a little challenging to make it up ”

“This family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the St. Regis river which you can hear throughout the cabin. There are lovely hiking trails around the property (I believe about 4 miles of trails). The cabin is cozy and warm. The weather for our stay was a bit too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch but I imagine in warmer weather it would be a lovely place to sit. “Enjoyed a family stay at Boyd Pond cottage. Sauna was great and enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. Fire pit out front with wood provided - roasting marshmallows was fun. King size bed and others beds were very comfortable. Drinking water was provided. Some weeds in the pond but much less when swimming further out. Hot tub was not working. The owner was very responsive and accommodating particularly during our last day of heavy rain and short power outage. Overall a very pleasant stay……

“This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit.
