“The check-in process was easy. The apartment was clean and location convenient to the SLU campus. Only thing I would add is light blocking shades to the large windows in the bedroom. Otherwise, it was a much more convenient option than the local hotels.”

“This was our family’s first exploration of the Potsdam area. Beth’s Place had great access to the four colleges in the area (all of which we visited), the locks at Massena, and a wonderful hike in Colton. So much to see in the area! The weather didn’t cooperate for us to kayak in April, but the views on the river were exquisite, especially from our private hot tub. “This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit. “I reserved this property for our end-of-summer vacation from 8/13-8/18. Two days before our check-in, the property owner offered me a different property than what was listed. She said the house is bigger with two beds. She did not contact me through VRBO, but texted me directly. After driving 450 miles, we arrived at the property around 8 pm. The house was surrounded by all sorts of trash. The house she offered is a trailer like a dumpster, which is not in a livable condition. She did not let us……

“We stayed at this property for my husband's graduation from SUNY Canton. Canton is an easy 20-30 minute ride. The house is extremely clean and well-kept. The outside needed a little cleaning up, but we figured since it's May, there probably hasn't been a spring clean-up done.
