“Wonderful choice for a group of 5! Enough beds for us all - the king bed was huge for two of my friends to share, with plenty of room for a third person if needed. The two other beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets for everyone if needed. The living area and kitchen were welcoming - everything was well organized and we were able to find what we needed to cook quite easily. Hosts were lovely and contacted us after an initial message we sent when having trouble locating……

“We had a wonderful time at the property. It is much more spacious than the pictures do it justice. The house was ls clean and well organized and K, the property owner was fantastic. Very responsive to questions and even came and plowed and salted while we were there due to the slow and ice storm we experienced. The property is about 25’ from Elk Mountain but the drive is easy and pretty. I would suggest AWD or FWD of going during the winter since many of the roads in that area are snow and ice……

“This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken……

“The host and her husband are very kind and provided a wonderful home and experience. Their hospitality was beyond that of the other rentals I’ve utilized in the past and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful and comfortable stay. Me and my family will certainly stay again in the future as economy and life allows. Thank you Wanda and terry you have both been wonder and we enjoyed this stay. You two exceeded our expectations.”
