“I found the lobby area was clean and fresh feeling. Check-in was relatively simple, and staff was friendly and engaging. The room was clean, and I found the bed comfortable. There was virtually no noise, even in the morning. The breakfast was typical hot/cold breakfast items served at hotels, but the staff kept the area clean while doing double duty of service at the front desk. Guest laundry was available, all machines were operable, and the laundry room was clean. Although I didn’t swim,……

“Beautiful historical hotel. Beds, pillows very comfortable. Room spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. We checked in around 7:30 PM, found our room then came down to enjoy some dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant. Very nice and reasonably priced with good food. I would totally recommend The Meadows Hotel and I'd make a point to stay there again if we're in the area. ”

“I was very apprehensive about staying here after reading the “WARNING” reviews. That was just some vindictive person being evil. I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, nice furniture, had an enormous TV, and in a safe neighborhood. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and went out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay. “The property was fine. The a.c. Was working but it kinda hot for me as I can’t sleep good if I’m hot. But I am hot natured. But it cooled off over into the night. But overall it was good. The price was good and the inn keeper was very nice and helpful. Could have used more shampoo and soap. ”
