“I grew up in Defiance, OH as did my spouse. We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH.”

“The house on the lake was the perfect place for four friends to spend a weekend getaway. Everything was easy- location, getting to, and checking in and out. The Hansons are great hosts and were easy to message with and answered any questions we had about our stay. While the weather did not cooperate we still had a wonderful time hiking and photographing nature at the nearby Wing Haven Preserve and dining out in Angola. Everything was clean and perfect, lots of great space, and being dog-friendly……
