“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vintage retreat while attending a wedding in Tyler. So much character and the personal touches planned by the host were definitely a plus. “Perfect for two but will accommodate four. Super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need right down to the salt and pepper. Communication with the host was timely and pleasant and the property was even nicer than the pictures indicate! Full kitchen,two A/C units and an awesome view of the lake. “This was the 2nd time I stayed on this property and 1st time in the green loft. Great location and the property owners put extra thought into the details - which I love. The movie collection is fantastic for a nice rest after a long day (even taught my teens how to work a VCR!). The trampoline was a big hit with my 2 teen girls. “Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and it’s very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. “This house was adorable and extremely accommodating. I loved everything about it. I didn't get a good feel for the neighborhood, so be sure to do some research. That being said... I was traveling alone and did ALL of my coming and going at night. The house also had a security system with a panic button for guests to use if they needed it. The BEST thing about this property was the owner. She was responsive even very late at night. She came over to the property in the dark to check on something……
