“Das Hotel ist genau das was man sich unter einen schottischen Hotel vorstellt. Es ist zwar etwas abgelegener aber sehr süß. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren richtig gut. Da wir sehr früh auschecken mussten haben wir sogar ein Lunchpaket zum Frühstück bekommen. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. ”
“Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious.”
“Great stay and convenient to everything. We needed to wash laundry and was able to walk over to the public washing facilities so that was helpful too. ”
“Somewhat disappointing. No one was there to check us in of inquire about our needs. Kind of eerie to stay at a hotel and not see anybody else (employees or guests) during our stay. Plus there was no Highland Cattle plush in our room as their web-site pictures suggest. Otherwise, a comfortable room that was clean and well-maintained.”
“It is quite a small room with one single bed and a bunk bed. The lower bunk bed is too narrow and the height between the two decks is too short. I cannot sit up on it. I have to crawl into the bed and slip out of it every time. So you can imagine the feeling when you sleep on the lower bunk bed and the upper bed is so close to your face. It is really the hostel facilities but the rate is close to a hotel or even more expensive than many of them. ”
“Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. It is off the beaten path. The beauty of the Glen Affric area is well worth the trip. Definitely not part of the tourist scene. ”
