“Our week in Highlands was so enjoyable and Foxglove Flat, although rustic on the outside, is a beautiful space to call home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and easy access for my husband with his mobility issues. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook. Multiple coffee making options was nice. The spacious outdoor patio space, with woodburning fireplace, was particularly welcoming and provided adequate cover from the mountain storms.I would highly recommend this property for a large group of people, with comfortable beds for all, plenty of bathrooms, and cozy living spaces.”

“We had an incredible month at this great lake cabin in Highlands. The house was incredibly clean, especially for being a cabin in a wooded area. It had literally everything you need for an awesome getaway — fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, plenty of room to stretch out, kayaks, life jackets, books, movies and games galore. The location is very close Main Street, Cashiers and everything Highlands has to offer. Mary was a great hostess and responded incredibly quickly when we had a question.……

“Really nice place. The host very accommodating and allowed us to check-in early. Place was very easy to find and very clean. 5 minute or less drive to downtown Highlands. Since there is no sidewalk on the main road (Cashiers Road) and no shoulder on the road, we didn't think it safe to walk. But it was an easy drive. “We enjoyed Thanksgiving week with our daughters driving in from Birmingham and Charlotte. Couldn’t have picked a better place. The house appears to have been recently remodeled and is updated. Of note the kitchen was well stocked which was obviously helpful given it was Thanksgiving. We would definitely rebook if the opportunity arises and recommend to anyone.”
