Other thing is transportation is at least &42 euros or more to the city center each way!! “Séjour génial dans cette maison pas loin du centre ville et très propre. L’hôte est accueillant, gentil et plus généralement génial, il nous a cuisiné des plats typiques et a été notre guide parfait durant tout notre séjour! Nous avons passé des excellentes soirées en sa compagnie avec un feu de cheminée et du bon vin. L’endroit est dans la forêt où l’on est plongés dans la nature finlandaise. Le premier soir il y avait même des aurores boréales au dessus de la maison, bref je recommande à 100%……

“This hotel is wonderful! They provided a wide range of food for breakfast and the kitchen utensils were of premium quality. You can simply buy food and cook yourself inside the room. The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. Everything there was excellent! I definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there if I come to Rovaniemi again!”

“Not too user friendly when you have to lugged 2 pieces of 23kg luggage’s and 2 pcs 7kg luggage’s. Room was on the 2 floor. Had to lugged my luggage’s from the entrance up stairs and in snowing weather. The owners were very helpful in fetching us to and from the airport and Santa Claus village.”

“The apartments are only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Rovaniemi, so very convenient. All of the restaurants we went to in Rovaniemi had great quality food. Many are quite rustic/cafe style, but if you are used to more refined decor don't be put off as the quality of the food and flavours were really good. We had fab Reindeer burgers at Pure Burger and our Mexican taco's and Nacho's at Yuca were so much better than anywhere I have had this style of food in the UK, the meats were……

“The hotel was situated on top of the hill, and we really loved the landscape around the hotel. A lot of trees and a lot of snow with few people. But there were no nearby bus stops, so transportation was quite inconvenient. Taxi to the city centre for 6 people was 46Euros. But since we expected this when we booked this hotel, we have booked tour with hotel pick up most of the time, so it was not that big of a problem for us. Staff were friendly, food at the restaurant was good. Room was small……

“No designed parking area in front of the chalet, one night someone parked in front of our chalet and we had to park further away and walk back under the snow. Some windows and balcony doors do not come with curtains or blinds (or have a big gap), quite insecure about that. The staff are funny and helpful. Overall is good. Laundry machine - 10 EUR for 2 hours. ”

"I stayed here for just one night, and the power tripped twice. I had to move a chair to reach the breaker box and reset the switch both times. Also, the front desk said their sauna was great, but when I went to the women’s changing room, the light wouldn’t turn on at all. The location is great though "
