“Perfect for a getaway very clean and fun to be at”

“The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars.”

“Four couples getaway. Cooked meals. Played games. Went for hiking and sightseeing especially to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Also visited the winerydistillery nearby. Location was superb. The owners of Kalli-Ru thought of every detail. Great for all ages -there are games, air hockey table, long bar table, many sofas, fireplaces, big yard, grill, fire pit, hot tub, etc. And big kitchen for gatherings and prepping meals. The place is also wheelchair accessible -that was a detail I noticed and……

“A super comfortable place and so peaceful to get away. Right on the banks of a stream that provides wonderful background. We had a minor issue once we arived, but it was swiflty taken care of by the host. They did everything right. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future vacations. ”

“My family loved the history and charm of Victorian Orchard. We we so pleasantly surprised that the house was decorated for the holidays complete with a decorated tree and Christmas music playing! We even had a white Christmas as it snowed the first few days we were there. We had plenty of room for all the family who planned to stay. We hiked, visited Ft. Necessity and Braddocks grave, Kentuck Knob, Cucumber Falls and other beautiful vistas in Ohiopyle. Was a perfect Christmas! ”

“The room had a wonderful ambiance. The Inn restaurant was fantastic. The only detractor was that the television would not turn on and appeared not to be connected to the remote control. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience. ”

“This is the cutest property, and the location is perfect! It’s right between a winery and a distillery. There are also food choices within walking distance. The hot tub and fire pit are icing on the cake. (The chairs by the fire pit need to be cleaned, but it’s a small detail that’s easily fixed). We will definitely be back!!!”
