“We were there for a short stay, but after a long day of driving, it was a great stay. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the continental breakfast is just what we needed for our drive back home.”

“We had a very relaxing 3 day stay! We were celebrating a late Christmas with our daughter and grandson. It was the perfect set-up for us. The view from the back porch was beautiful. We will be back! Looking to make reservations for the future! ”

“Loved the preservation of historic sites, people & events. A little awkward checking in and lugging in suitcases during the dinner rush. Room was comfortable-- thankfully, it was a cool night as we didn't see any air conditioner in our room. However, very basic amenities. Some simple enhancements could go a long way (ie no bright yellow extension cord under the area rug, some overhead lamps, shelf for roku box vs dangling from the cords). Overall, pleasant and accomodating lodging. ”

“The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars.”

“I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the 1915 remodeled home. The place was beautifully but minimalistically decorated. We were celebrating our son's baccalaureate graduation from Carnegie Mellon University. This location boasted beautiful sunset views, conversation of the past four years and making new memories. The host left us wonderful supplements (organic eats and bacon with artisan bread and jam) for the following morning's breakfast. There was ample space to entertain and……
