“We were looking for a place to camp that was secluded and peaceful and that is exactly what we got! The tree house is very well built and was the perfect place to sleep at night. There was a spot with a large fire pit next to the river with a good sized clearing that we hung out and played games in. We opted to get some kayaks and went up and down the river. We made the reservation and upon arrival, it is an extended stay hotel and they neither have our reservation nor do they allow anyone to rent out rooms through VRBO or l other comparable providers. “This was perfect for our stay! Our daughter graduated from UGA and we needed a place to stay for the weekend for our family. Yes it's a 75 minute drive to Athens from Milidgeville but well worth it. The kids loved catching fish from the dock and we loved the location. Such a beautiful area! If you're looking for a rental for a UGA event this one is a great one and it beats paying 800 a night for a Best Western in Athens. .
