“This property is very good quality and the host was very helpful. The location is great , being easy walking distance from Fordingbridge. Unfortunately, the stairs to the first floor are more like a ladder and there is very limited headroom at the top and bottom of the bed, which made it difficult getting to the bathroom.”

“Easy to find with everything you need within walking distance. Could not believe it was so close to the town with such a rural garden and feel about the property and garden. We felt so at home. It had more mod cons than we are used to, so it felt like a holiday. Wish we could have had more time away from our farm and animals to enjoy the property and new forest even more”

“The cottage was dirty, the kitchen smelt of grease and all the pots where dirty. It smelt very fusty like it had been left unused for a long time. Beds where very uncomfortable, my wife described it as the worst nights sleep she has ever had. None of my kids could sleep either. Left after the first night and had to spend more money to stay somewhere. When I mentioned all this to the host they completely ignored me and stopped responding to my messages.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Florence Cottage is very well equipped and has clearly had a lot of money spent on it. The kitchen is beautiful, bathroom very modern and all the furniture is of good quality (very comfortable beds and sofa etc.). Andy sent us a detailed email prior to check-in with all the relevant instructions... The only thing we missed was a guide for the many recycling bins, but found the information on the Somerset Council website. I should mention how wonderfully warm the……
