“We were all so thrilled with this beautiful place with these gorgeous views. Although we were here for a wedding, several of us stayed behind to work and linger with coffee in front the windows to see the gorgeous views! It could not have been better and we hated to leave! Was so close to the Glade Creek Farm wedding venue!!!”

“The check in process was easy and the place was great. We did have to leave a day early because of high water and a mud slide near by but the kids loved the environment and this place was a huge blessing for us.”

“The place was very clean and tidy. Property manager was great. Super easy check in and check out. Had plenty of all the necessities like toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, laundry supplies. We were up here to go skiing at Winterplace and the drive was only about 20 to get there. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The house was exactly as advertised!! The home was very clean, cozy and conveniently located... close to plenty of restaurants and a quick drive to the areas ski restort! The only down side for us the parking. We drive a large vehicle and parking was difficult, especially with someone being parked out front on both side of the driveway. We managed but it was tighter then we envisioned. The beds were pretty firm but the bedding so so soft and clean! We'd definitely rent here again if in the area.”

“Our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 teens) stayed here for a ski trip to Winterplace. We also did some hiking in the area. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores in Beckley. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This wasn't a fun trip, as we were in town for my mother's funeral from out of state and had friends coming with us. The size of the house and accommodations were perfect to host them and have an intimate family meal among the beauty of the woods and the river views. Highly recommend. We will be back for more fun times and to enjoy the wonderful front porch. ”

“Great house in a great location!plenty of room!”

“Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit……

“Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong.”

“The host was great, very accessible, quick to respond to questions. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great location. The location was convenient to Greenbrier and Lewisburg. It offered a quiet place to sit on the front porch after a busy day. We plan on returning next year.”

“The house is stocked with everything you need, if you want to make meals for family or if you’re just using it to have a place to stay while visiting the area. The fresh fruit and bottles of water in the fridge, the free pizza from the gas/grocery store next door, the shampoos/soap/toothpaste in the bathrooms were nice added touches of a welcome.
