“From the moment we approached the cottage, we were impressed by the view, the decks, the firepit, and the common areas of the house were larger than we thought they would be (always a good thing, especially as it was raining off and on for most of our stay). Each night we enjoyed the upper deck and it's expansive view of the peaceful cove. If weather didn't allow, we enjoyed the lovely view from the screened in porch. I tried kayaking (as there was one there for our use) for the first time and……

“It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful area, but be warned to get in out of of the area to other locations you will need to travel 15 minutes on very winding roads. And finally, there was a lack……

“Due to bad weather that had passed through the area we were unable to stay here due to power outage...upon entering this property it matched the listing looked very comfortable and clean and had the most amazing view!
