“The host was nice and made sure I had everything I needed. They even went the extra mile and bought me a gluten free mini birthday cake when they found out it was my birthday. It was quiet and relaxing, just what I needed. I never went into town but it wasn’t far from town. I wanted a break from the business of the city and this did not disappoint. “The first thing my family and I said was "wow" when we walked in. This is the cleanest and cutest house we have stayed in. Erika is a thoughtful host- from a cute smore substitute due to the fire ban, to towel bundles, to laying hay by the fence so the animals would come by to eat. It's a nice location to be somewhere quiet, yet easy enough to get to the waterfalls and such a long the river. It's a good child proof home that was great for my kids (age 3 and 5) to play the games upstairs. Horse……

“This property has it all! The cabins are exactly as shown in the photos, the sauna looked incredible, and there's a communal space near the cabins that just makes you crave s'mores! Todd was an incredible host, very hospitable and respectful! He welcomed me as I arrived and showed me all the facilities on the property. He offered me a fresh latte and a small breakfast in the mornings and they have a couple adorably cuddly cats! I will be staying here again in the future so I can take more……

“We were thrilled by the private serenity of this lovely, roomy cabin surrounded by woods and water. It's not too far from the Portland airport and it's easy to get into the town of Ridgefield or take day trips into Portland, Mt St. Helens, Mt. Hood or to many other great hiking areas and small towns.The cabin itself has almost everything you could need to have a very comfortable and enjoyable visit, either indoors or outside on the private lake and grounds.
