“The room was great, well lit, very large, easy walk with luggage from the train station. We were placed in an annex. Maybe the actual hotel is better. There are 2 flights of narrow steep stairs. No elevator, this was very difficult carrying luggage up. There was another room in the annex which you share the kitchen and toilet with those tenants. You do get your own shower, which is private, but its in the same room. You share the vanity, mirror, there are 3 sinks and you get your own blow dryer.……

“The apartment was clean and bright. Cooking was possible and it was a very convenient location. Some messages weren’t responded to which is a problem in an unmanned hotel. Like most places in Japan there’s a real lack of flexibility around bedding (the eiderdown/doona is way too hot with no other options - take note management.)”

“The home is on a busy street and shakes every time a bus goes by. They seem to stop by 10:00 PM and don't start again until 7:00 AM. If the house was 90 feet over it would certainly be better. Beds were comfortable and the home is close to The castle and the gardens, both of which are phenomenal to visit. The dining area is pleasant enough. The shower is a treacherous walk down a steep staircase but as space is at a premium it is understandable. But not good or safe for everyone. The outside is……

Great location, clean and comfortable

"The hotel location is excellent. The room is nice. The staff are friendly but not overly helpful. One can tell that very experienced in the hospitality industry. No kettle in our room which was unusual. No extra towel for the “public bath”. The buffet breakfast was very good as was the option to have breakfast at the Omachi market."

A good choice in Niigata

"The hotel is conveniently located near Niigata Station. It is close to the shopping areas and many restaurants were located nearby. The only drawback was that the public bath was closed at midnight which was a bit rush for those who returned to the hotel late. It would be better if the public bath could be extended to, say, 1 am."

"If this special price is available next time, I will definitely choose this hotel first. The room was excellent and great value for money. Both the hairdryer and curling iron were high-end, and even the hairdryers in the large public bath were Dyson. The hotel is close to the station, the room was spacious, and the bathroom, bathtub, sink, and toilet were all in separate rooms."
